The trouble was finding comfortable accommodation, much of it being old cottages, no air-conditioning and terrible beds with the most uncomfortable mattresses.... Well in 2004 we were fortunate enough to find just the right property, right on the peninsular between the river and the sea, and most importantly, Not facing the Ocean! Anyone who wakes up in the morning with all the glare and heat from the sun streaming in straight off the ocean will know exactly what I mean! ..... and as if that wasn't bad enough enough, in the evenings its too windy to enjoy sitting out on your lovely deck! The property we wanted had to be next to the beach, we just love going to sleep to the sounds of the ocean, but not overlooking the ocean, so we were delighted when we found this one that was not only next to the beach, well 2 minutes walk if your slow, But overlooked the river as well ... the best of both worlds!
